Background / Overview

I am a highly skilled and detail oriented Web designer / Developer and Graphic Designer. I have worked both independently and in team environments with other web developers and designers. I bring a vast knowledge base of both print and web design skill sets to the table. My skills and hands on experience include, web site designing, development, cross browser testing, daily web site monitoring and maintenance. Not only have I built many web sites for marketing but I also have hands on experience with all of the aspects of front end development of X-HTML web based software applications such as JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and other scripting libraries, inserting back-end code (ASP.net), creating page mockups into pixel perfect cross browser safe code and CSS style sheets. Other important front end development aspects included creating user friendly and intuitive software icons, logos, splash pages, interactive CDs and email landing pages.

Regarding the print side of the graphic industry I have a lot of experience with preparing and creating files for print such as large trade show displays, booths, corporate logos, posters, sales brochures, flyers, cut sheets, folders, White Paper documents, and CD packaging. I have worked with many different types of projects that were professionally printed so I have a solid understanding of the CMYK print process and costs of printing allowing me to negotiate pricing to keep down printing costs.
